Bridget Kendall next Master of Peterhouse

Ms Bridget Kendall (Modern Languages, 1980), Alumni and Honorary Fellow of St Antony's College, has been officially announced as the next Master of Peterhouse, Cambridge. Ms Kendall is widely known as the former BBC Diplomatic correspondent, having previously served as BBC correspondent for both Moscow and Washington.

Professor Adrian Dixon, current Master of Peterhouse said on the announcement "This is a great day in the evolving history of Peterhouse. Bridget will bring to the College her exceptional skills in communication and knowledge of international affairs. She also provides an outstanding role model for students and young academics alike.”

Her awards include the James Cameron Award for distinguished journalism and an MBE in the 1994 New Year's Honours list.
