Professor Robert Service's contributions to Litvinenko Inquiry

22 January 2016

The Litvinenko Inquiry Report has been published, and names Professor Emeritus Robert Service as a key contributor of both oral and written evidence. Sir Robert Owen, Chairman of the Inquiry, made frequent reference to Professor Service’s input “I say at once that I found Professor Service to be a most impressive and helpful witness. His mastery of the subject was apparent, but just as notable – and of great assistance to me – was the conspicuous care that he took in highlighting the issues where the limited nature of the source material available to him meant that he was unable to express a decided view one way or the other.”

The full Inquiry can be found here. In particular, sections 9.41- 9.45 make reference to Professor Service and his contributions.
