Middle East Centre Antonian Conference (Gaudy) 2007
2007 marks the Middle East Centre's fiftieth anniversary. St Antony's celebrated this milestone
with a Gaudy, held in the College on the weekend of 29 June - 1 July 2007. This event was open to all
Antonians, past and present. We were delighted to have Hanan Ashrawi (Honorary Fellow of St Antony's) as
the keynote speaker. The full programme is below.
Some of the papers given at the Gaudy can be accessed by clicking on the speaker's name.
Some are word documents and some are recorded in mp3 format. If you cannot open
the mp3 files, click this link for information on obtaining a
Real Audio compatible player.
A selection of photographs of the Gaudy is also available.
There was an associated fundraising drive from Antonians to support
Middle Eastern Studies. Please click through for more details.
