British Inter-University China Centre - is a joint venture between Oxford, Bristol, and Manchester Universities.

BICC's mission is threefold. It aims:
• to expand undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of Chinese language and Chinese area studies
• to facilitate the performance of original research in Chinese studies
• to initiate a broad range of dissemination and outreach activities particularly, but not exclusively, in the UK

BICC studentships cover fees and maintenance for home and EU students taking up postgraduate courses at Oxford, Manchester, and Bristol.

Contemporary China Studies Centre Programme -is a vibrant focal point of activity supporting students, postdoctoral research fellows and faculty members working in Chinese studies across the University, as well as the larger University community and the public at large.

CCSP organizes frequent seminars, workshops, colloquia and conferences to develop, share, and disseminate innovative research on China.

The Programme regularly hosts visiting academics from China and around the world who carry out research on China.

As part of its dedication to expand and support research on contemporary China, CCSP also offers a limited number of fellowships, and financial support to postgraduate students concentrating on the study of China at Oxford.
