Current Wai Seng scholarship recipient, Xi (Sisi) has recently published an article titled "The spatial exposure of the Chinese infrastructure system to flooding and drought hazards" in Natural Hazards, in collaboration with the Oxford Martin School and Beijing Normal University of China.
In July 2015, she co-founded an international conference on infrastructure investment in emerging markets that gathered more than 17 world's leading infrastructure experts with 160 attendees, with support from the Infrastructure Transitions Research Consortium and the Smith School of Enterprise and Environment.
The outcome of the conference has been published as a global report available here.

Xi is currently working on building a conceptual model to understand infrastructure development processes in China and will be travelling to Latin America next year to explore China's role in the infrastructure space in the region.
