Dr Nina Japaridze joins Ipsos as VP

Dr Nina Japaridze (DPhil Politics, 2012) has recently taken office as Vice President at Ipsos, a leading market research firm. At Ipsos Public Affairs, Nina will be building the firm’s media and communications impact practice within the social research space; a continuation of research she undertook for her dissertation whilst in Oxford.

Nina is also a professorial lecturer at the Department of Politics at George Washington University where she lectures on democratic theory, media and democratic political culture, comparative politics, Central and East European politics, and politics of Western Europe. She serves on the advisory board of American Friends of Georgia, a non-profit focused on improving the lives of the most vulnerable in the Republic of Georgia. During her tenure as President of the Georgian Association in the USA, she led the establishment of the American Academy in Tbilisi.
