Richard Ramage joined the St Antony’s Russian and Eurasian Studies Centre in 2008, in time to organise many book-moves and liaise with architect and builders during the Centre’s library refurbishment.  The RESC Library re-opened in May 2009, instantly establishing itself as an attractive space and a valued resource.

Previously Richard worked in the Taylor Institution Slavonic and Modern Greek Library, after receiving his BA in Russian and French Language and Literature from Brasenose College, Oxford. His past connections with St Antony’s range from attending lectures and tutorials on Chekhov with the late Dr Ronald Hingley to performing at a College Ball in the early 1980s.
