Visiting Senior Members at the CentreOver the years many prominent visitors have spent a term or a year in the Centre as Senior Associate Members of St Antony's or as Research Fellows with outside funding. Among the leading scholars in the field from whose presence the Centre has benefited are Professor Norman Davies, Professor T.H. Rigby and Professor Richard Ullman. The late Sir Isaiah Berlin was an Honorary Fellow of St Antony's who enjoyed close contacts with the Centre Fellows. Not all those who have spent extended periods of time attached to the Centre are academics. They have included, for example, leading journalists, among them John Lloyd of the Financial Times (formerly Moscow correspondent of that newspaper), David Hoffman who is Foreign Editor of the Washington Post (previously Moscow correspondent), and Steven Erlanger of the New York Times (formerly based in Moscow).
