Degree Ceremony InformationIn order for an official degree certificate to be produced you must have your degree conferred either in person or in absentia at an official Degree ceremony. The College presents in person candidates three or four times each academic year. Do please note that Oxford University only allows students to have each level of degree conferred ( in person or absentia) once. Those who wish to graduate in absentia may do so on any degree day offered by the University. Please contact Kathie Mackay in the Development Office for information. All outstanding debts to the College must be paid in full All books must be returned to the College Library The ceremony dates for 2011 will be confirmed from Michaelmas Term 2010 and an application form will be available for you to book a place. Graduation ceremonies for 2011 will be held at the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford. Children under the age of seven are not permitted to attend. Lists are confirmed to the University Registry one month in advance of the ceremony and no late withdrawals after that deadline are accepted. Leave to Supplicate for research students only must have been granted by the Board. A hardbound copy of the thesis, extract and all other GSO paperwork must have been submitted to the Examination Schools (see website http:// www.admin.ox.ac.uk/gso/forms? or confirmation of taught course result must have been notified to you.
