Antonian Event at the Morgan Museum and Library

We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive evening at the Morgan Library and Museum. Professor Paul Kennedy (DPhil International Affairs 1966, Honorary Fellow of St Antony's, and J. Richardson Dilworth Professor of History, Yale) will address an Antonian audience on 'Trump, Brexit, and the Sweep of History'.

The event would not be possible without the generosity of Geoffrey and Fay Elliott who sponsor the Tolkien Exhibition at the Morgan.  Geoffrey Elliott is an Honorary Fellow of St Antony's College and Life-Trustee of the Morgan Library and Museum.

The details of the event are as follows:

5-6pm: The Tolkien Exhibition will be open for visitors, and a curator will be able to answer any questions.
6pm: Drinks Reception in the Library.
6:30pm: Talk and Q&A with Professor Paul Kennedy, DPhil International Affairs 1966 and Honorary Fellow of St Antony's College (J. Richardson Dilworth Professor of History, Yale).
7:15pm: Update on the College by Professor Roger Goodman, DPhil Social Anthropology 1982 and Warden of St Antony's College (Nissan Professor of Japanese Studies, Oxford)
8pm: Carriages.

The Tolkien Exhibition will remain open after the speeches.

There will be a nominal charge of £25 for tickets, to help cover the cost of the event.
