Judith Clifton received her DPhil. in Political Economy from the University of Oxford in 1997 (St Antony´s College) after completing a Masters in Contemporary International Studies at the University of Leeds in 1993. She has lectured at the University of Oxford, Leeds and Oviedo and been a Visiting Research Scholar at El Colegio de México, Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset-Madrid, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas-Madrid and the European University Institute-Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies-Florence.
