Rufaida al-Hashmi MSc Political Theory Research 2018

‘My research for my thesis for the MSc in Political Theory Research is a project of political philosophy, and it explores questions to do with what we owe each other as a matter of global justice.

In particular, I explore the significance of our partiality towards our fellow citizens when thinking about these questions.

The Jusoor Scholarship has made coming to Oxford a reality for me. And thanks to the scholarship, I have thrived here. I was awarded the prestigious Clarendon Scholarship for a DPhil, rowed for the St Antony’s Women’s First Boat, and made lifelong friends.’
