The Hadid Doctoral Studentship
| Eligibility | The Middle East Centre is pleased to offer the Hadid Studentship to continuing doctoral students working on the modern Middle East. Only students who have completed their transfer of status are eligible, and preference may be shown to those who have completed their confirmation of status. While students may apply from any Oxford college, they need to migrate to St Antony's to take up the award. The award will be made on the basis of academic excellence, though preference may be shown for candidates with demonstrated need, without regard to nationality.The successful applicant will need to be in residence for the academic year, and will be asked to volunteer eight hours per week of their time to support the activities of the Middle East Centre during Michaelmas, Hilary and Trinity Full Term. |

Applications for the 2021-22 academic year are now open. The deadline to apply is Tuesday 31st May 2022 (8th week). To submit an application for the Hadid Doctoral Scholarship, please submit a cover letter and thesis proposal, CV and a letter of support from your thesis supervisor to mec@sant.ox.ac.uk.
