Martin Mevius (DPhil Modern History 1998) is the St Antony’s Liaison Officer in Brussels and keen to organize Antonian events there. Martin currently works as a speechwriter for the European Commission. Prior to Brussels he worked as a researcher and lecturer at the Universities of Amsterdam and Maastricht and University College Utrecht,  and wrote  extensively as a freelance writer and journalist.
