Jamie Cockfield (DPhil, History) will talk through one aspect of his doctoral dissertation.  The presentation will explore the making of Bushbuckridge (now a town in Mpumalanga) during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The Natives Land Act of 1913 is an important aspect of this story.
