The new North American Studies Programme at St Antony's College aims
to promote the inter-disciplinary examination of problems and issues
that transcend national boundaries in North America, of the
interrelationships between the continent’s states and societies, and of
the region’s place in the wider world. To help launch the Programme's
inaugural seminar series, this roundtable discussion will consider how
the concept of North America as a region might contribute to a better
understanding of topics and issues relevant to the continent's countries
and people.
