The Franco-British Summit was held on the 18th of January with President Macron coming to London. Teymouraz Gorjestani, Counsellor for Strategic and Security Affairs for the French Ambassador; Previously French negociator at the UN Security Council, builds on the context of this summit.
Teymouraz Gorjestani is a French diplomat, educated in France (Sciences Po/ENA), the US (Berkeley) and the UK (London School of Economics) in the fields of economics and international relations. He has extensive experiences in international organizations, having interned at EBRD, worked in Pascal Lamy’s private office at the WTO and as a UN Security Council negotiator with the French Permanent Mission to the UN in New York. He is currently posted at the French Embassy in London.
