The India-Oxford Initiative - Launch Event

The India-Oxford Initiative (IndOx) is a cross-divisional platform at the University of Oxford aiming to promote multidisciplinary research and academic collaboration between the Indian subcontinent and Oxford.

This event will comprise a showcase of existent research collaborations between India and Oxford and will formally launch IndOx with a panel discussion chaired by the University of Oxford Vice-Chancellor, Professor Louise Richardson.

The event has three principal aims:

  1. To showcase research partnerships between India and Oxford across the five divisions
  2. To introduce IndOx and outline its vision, mission and opportunities for engagement
  3. To discuss the way forward for IndOx, focussing on the next steps, strategies and collaborations
