Jonathan Rugman has been Foreign Affairs Correspondent at Channel 4 News since 2006. He covered the 'Arab Spring' uprisings from 2011 onwards and won a BAFTA for his coverage of the terrorist attacks in Paris in 2015. 'The killing in the consulate', published by Simon & Schuster, is his second book. His first, 'Ataturk's children - Turkey and the Kurds', was written when he was the Istanbul correspondent of The Guardian. He is a graduate of Churchill college, Cambridge and was fellow commoner at Corpus Christi college, Cambridge in 2017.
