Middle East Centre Antonian Conference (Gaudy) 2007 2007 marks the Middle East Centre's fiftieth anniversary. St Antony's celebrated this milestone with a Gaudy, held in the College on the weekend of 29 June - 1 July 2007. This event was open to all Antonians, past and present. We were delighted to have Hanan Ashrawi (Honorary Fellow of St Antony's) as the keynote speaker. The full programme is below. Friday 29 June 2pm onwards Open House in the Middle East Centre and an Exhibition in the MEC Archive from 2 - 4pm 5pm - Keynote Lecture in the Nissan Lecture Theatre. The speaker was Hanan Ashrawi, member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and President of MIFTAH.
