Jacqueline Rose is Professor of English at Queen Mary University of London. Her books include The Question of Zion (the Christian Gauss seminars, Princeton U P, 2005), The Haunting of Sylvia Plath, the Oxford Clarendon Lectures: States of Fantasy, On Not Being Able to Sleep: Psychoanalysis in the Modern World, and the novel Albertine. She was writer and presenter of the 2002 Channel 4 documentary "Dangerous Liaison: Israel and America."
Avi Shlaim is a Fellow of St Antony's College and Professor of International Relations at Oxford. His books include War and Peace in the Middle East (1995) and The Iron Wall: Israel and the Arabs (2000).
