North American Studies Programme Conference

This conference examines the impact of NAFTA on the North American region two decades after the agreement came into force, assessing what the pact has meant for business, the depth of its economic impact, its effects on the international relations of the region, and the extent to which it might have contributed to the development of a regional sense of identity and a regional approach to a broader range of issues.  The first part, Business and Official Perspectives, took place on 10 November 2014. This second part of the conference offers further contextualization and analysis of the North American regional project.
