The Congress of Polish Student Societies in the UK is the largest annual initiative uniting Polish students in the UK with over 300 participants. This year’s VII Congress was themed “Poland - 10 Years in the EU”, with the aim of encouraging reflection on the 10th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the EU.
Organised by Oxford University Polish Society and hosted in the buildings of the famous debating society, the Oxford Union. The agenda included speeches, lectures and panel discussions on politics, education, history and business. Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski, Prof Zbigniew Pelczynski, historian Adam Zamoyski, Prof Timothy Garton-Ash and Maciej Stuhr with Steffen Möller were amongst many distinguished speakers.
