WELCOME!

WELCOME!

The Middle East Centre (MEC) Library was originally established in 1957. It was first housed in a Victorian building until October 2015, when it moved to its permanent home in the prestigious Investcorp Building, designed by the renowned architect, Zaha Hadid. The Library boasts an architecturally rich and inspiring reading room with amazing ambience and space, all with state-of-the-art reader-centred library facilities. The newly created storage space with electronically operated bays allows for the future collection growth.
