Support PEFM Oxford

Thank you to those who have donated to PEFM

Request for support for the Political Economy of Financial Markets programme.

The initial funding that Max Watson brought into PEFM has now been exhausted. We have made substantial efforts at securing additional funds, but so far with limited success.

We continue to hope for major funding from sizeable donors, and have a number of possibilities in this regard. However, at this point we are appealing to the Friends of PEFM, to enabke us to run our conference this summer, bringing together academics, policy makers, and market practitioners to discuss issues concerning the political economy of Europe. At this time of increasing uncertainty and fragility in our economic and financial systems, PEFM has continued to play a significant role. Further instability and possible turmoil may be in prospect in the year ahead.

This message is therefore to invite you to be part of our fund-raising initiative. A number of friends have already contributed. No contribution would be too small (or too big) and will be gratefully received and acknowledged by ourselves.

Any contribution should please be made out to St Antony’s College, Oxford, noting that it is intended for PEFM. All contributions will also be acknowledged by the College.

St Antony’s is a registered charity. There are several schemes available to help donors based in various countries to make tax efficient donations.

If you are a UK taxpayer please indicate so, and you will receive a GiftAid form from the College which enables the College to gross up your contribution, and provides tax relief for higher-rate taxpayers. (Alternatively, see below to download form.) Please send cheques to Julie Adams, PEFM Administrator, at European Studies Centre, St Antony’s College, 70 Woodstock Road, Oxford OX2 6JF.

Alternatively, please transfer funds to the St. Antony’s College account:

Royal Bank of Scotland
Account Number: 10129750
Sort Code: 16-10-15
IBAN: is GB38RBOS16101510129750

Please state that the contribution is for PEFM.
