Dr José Cutileiro (1934-2020)
Dr José Cutileiro (DPhil History, 1968; Research Fellow, 1968-1971) passed away in May 2020. He had an extraordinary life and career since leaving St Antony’s.
As the Jornal Economico wrote:
‘[Cutileiro was] an anthropologist with soul in the Alentejo… He was truly a Portuguese with a great view of the world.’
