The family would be grateful should you accept, in lieu of condolences, to share with them a personal memory of Jean-Pierre, however important or trivial. The family can be contacted on this email address (memoriesofjeanpierre@gmail.com) and hopes that the many facets of Jean-Pierre’s remarkable life, his influence and charisma, will emerge through these testimonials. They will be passed on to the grandchildren he so cherished – Clara, Coline, Raphaël, Lys, Alix, Aimée, Isaac – and in due course to their descendants so that Jean-Pierre’s integrity, generosity, humanity, wisdom and great humour will remain a reference.
An intimate burial will be held in Fontainebleau, France. An informal memorial will be organised in Lausanne, Switzerland, by the family and announced at a later date.
Donations in Jean-Pierre’s memory can be made to Mercy Ships.
