Ché Varney (they/them), matriculated from St. Antony’s in 2021 (MSt Diplomatic Studies). They were actively involved, serving on the College Graduate Committee. Now, based in Cape Town, South Africa, Ché is taking up the role of Chief of Staff in the Provincial Government focusing on revenue generation.

With a background in management consulting and in international trade, their most recent work has focused on supporting public sector organisations through clear strategy articulation and operating model design. A highlight of their career to date includes engaging with global leaders, including at the G20 in Johannesburg.

As a liaison officer, Ché is keen to strengthen the Antonian network across Southern Africa.

Outside of work, they have a love for languages, gardening, and food, and are always happy to connect.
