Janice Ugaki is Co-Founder and President of Firmseek, a strategic marketing and technology company based in Washington, DC. Over the past 26 years, she has helped grow the company into an international leader in digital marketing, earning more than 475 industry awards.

Janice is Co-President of the Association of American Rhodes Scholars (AARS) and has served on its board for more than 18 years. She is also President of the Harvard Alumni Association of Utah and serves on the board of the Truman Scholarship Foundation. Through her work with alumni organisations at state and national levels, she has developed a strong interest in community building and intergenerational collaboration.

Her board and trustee roles reflect a longstanding commitment to education, healthcare and public service. These have included Intermountain Health, the Olympic Legacy Foundation, Zions Bank, the University of Utah National Advisory Council, the Utah Innocence Project, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, the Utah Educational Savings Plan Board, Castell Health, Culmination Bio, the University of Utah Honors College, the University of Utah College of Science and the Park City Education Foundation.

Janice graduated summa cum laude from the University of Utah with an honours BSc in Finance, an honours BA in Political Science and a minor in Japanese. She later earned a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, and studied at St. Antony’s College as a Rhodes Scholar, where she read for a DPhil in Japanese Politics.

While at Harvard Law School, Janice taught a Harvard College course on Japanese politics and received the Harvard Teaching Distinction Award. She also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah Honors College, where she taught a leadership colloquium for six years.

Janice lives in Boston and Park City with her husband, Dr. Doug Greally. They have two children who attend Harvard College. Outside work, she enjoys hiking, skiing and travelling with her family. She is a first-degree black belt in taekwondo and taught martial arts to disadvantaged primary school students for more than ten years.
