Santiago Mariani has a professional track record as a consultant and adviser working with international organisations, governments and non-governmental organisations. His areas of expertise include advocacy, communications, political analysis and strategy.

Since 2012, he has been a lecturer in social sciences at Universidad del Pacífico (Peru). He has also co-edited La política va al cine (2014) and La política es de cine (2018).

He is currently an external consultant with the Inter-American Development Bank in Lima, Peru.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Salvador University (Argentina). Fundación Carolina awarded him a merit scholarship to participate in the seventh edition of the master’s degree in Political Action and Citizenship Participation at Francisco de Vitoria University (Spain). He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Public Policy in Latin America from the University of Oxford (Latin American Centre, St Antony’s College).
