Many congratulations on receiving an offer of a place on your chosen course at the University of Oxford. We are delighted to welcome you at St Antony’s College and we hope this pre-arrival guide will answer many of your questions about the College admissions process, arrival in Oxford and life in the St Antony’s community.


All offer holders will receive further information on college plans for the academic year 2020/21 soon - find the latest advice for students on the University of Oxford COVID-19 update page.

Throughout the summer, we will be busy preparing for your arrival making sure you will have a great start to your studies here in Oxford. We will be open to welcome you and student and staff safety will be our highest priority, without compromising the unique College experience.

While social distancing rules and government guidelines are in place, some of the information in this guide will not be up to date. In addition, a number of events and services will be cancelled or adjusted in line with the latest regulations. As the government guidelines are constantly changing, we may have to make last minute adjustments to our plans. You will receive further information in the summer newsletter.

Please contact the Registry Administrator if your contact details change (for example, if you provided a university email address on application to the University of Oxford and have since graduated). It is especially important to keep your personal email address up to date, as this is how St Antony’s College will communicate with you prior to your arrival.

Early October 2020 First ‘battels’ statement (of fees and charges due in your first term) emailed to you
03 & 04 October 2020 Arrival Weekend
05 - 09 October 2020 Welcome Week (online and in person - details to be confirmed)
To be confirmed New Student Registration at College - in person details to be confirmed
Saturday 17 October 2020 Final deadline to pay the balance of your first ‘battels’ statement
Saturday 17 October 2020 Matriculation ceremony - online only
