The College takes great pride in producing the highest standard of food and drinks service. Our Head Chef, Andrew Tipton, and his team prepare innovative and seasonal menus using the freshest ingredients and locally-sourced products where possible.

Dining Hall

The Dining Room is a high-ceilinged spacious dining hall located on the first floor of the College’s much-loved Hilda Besse building. As one of the finest examples of post-war Brutalist architecture, the Hilda Besse has received several prestigious awards, from RIBA, the Concrete Society, and the Oxford Preservation Society. Built at the end of the 1960s, this Grade II listed building is at the heart of St Antony’s College.

Located on the first floor, the Dining Hall is accessible for wheelchair users via the lift, and a ramp can be provided for the steps leading into the building.

The Dining Hall is available throughout term time and the vacation period and is suitable for a maximum of 250 guests for dining.

Fellows’ Dining Room

The Fellows’ Dining Room has large windows overlooking the beautiful College gardens, with space to host dinners of up to 40 people. It is the perfect location for a drinks reception; situated close to the Dining Hall, it offers an effortless transition to your main meal.

Clock Room

The Clock Room, located on the ground floor of the Hilda Besse building, is a small intimate dining space for up to ten people, which can also be used for small meetings,

The room has full wheelchair accessibility (ramp provided) and full wireless internet access.The room is available throughout term time and the vacation period and is suitable for a maximum of 10 guests for dining.

Hadid Room

The Hadid Room, located on the ground floor of the Hilda Besse building, is a pleasant dining space for up to twelve guests which can also be used for small meetings. 

Buttery

The Buttery is a multi-functional common space which is located within the Hilda Besse Building, popular as a pre-dinner drinks venue or for a celebratory reception, for up to 70 guests.
