Ned Leadbeater, 2025 graduate of the MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies, has published an article in the Summer/Fall 2025 double issue of MERIP’s Middle East Report. ‘Fiber Optics and the Hidden Politics of Connectivity’ is based on his masters research on the material politics of the internet in Egypt.
