Warden attends Antonian events in California
Earlier this month, the Warden, Professor Roger Goodman, visited California to attend Antonian events in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. It was a pleasure to meet so many Antonians, and we are grateful to Nalini Biggs, Justin Jampol and Jessica Ashooh for organising and hosting the events.
We also thank Justin for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Wende Museum of the Cold War, and for sharing how his ambition to establish the museum developed during his time at St Antony’s. We were pleased to hear from Daniel Zoughbie, who spoke about how US presidents have shaped the Middle East, drawing on his book Kicking the Hornet’s Nest: U.S. Foreign Policy in the Middle East from Truman to Trump.
During the visit, the Warden shared an update on the College and its scholarship programme. He also reminded Antonians that they are welcome to visit Oxford and enjoy a complimentary High Table once a year at the College.
