Dr Satoshi Katsunuma

Dr. Satoshi Katsunuma is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Letters at Keio University, Japan. He received his PhD in Area Studies from the University of Tokyo in 2013. Prior to his current position, he conducted research and taught at several universities, including Hitotsubashi University, the University of Tokyo, and Waseda University. From 2017 to 2019, he served as Secretary-General of the Japan Association for Middle East Studies. His current research explores how Arab readers engaged and communicated through Arabic periodicals during the Interwar period.
