Funding
Supporting our students is a primary concern and the focus of the College’s fundraising efforts. Our goal is to ensure that any student, regardless of background, can have the opportunity to study and succeed at the College. This includes providing scholarships to fund study at St Antony’s and access to funds that support current students in their academic and social activities throughout their time at St Antony’s. None of these funds would be available without the support of our alumni and other funders.
Funding to support current students
The Antonian Fund
The Antonian Fund provides grants that support student experience in different ways:
- Student activities
To benefit the academic growth and life at the College of our students, and to support activities that enrich the student environment and experience. For example, an Antonian Fund grant could be used to organise special lectures, workshops and other academic activities. It could also be used for societies, sports clubs, and other projects that will benefit the cultural and social life at the College.
- Blues grants
To support students with the costs of sporting activities within the University of Oxford.
- Writing-up bursaries
To support students nearing completion of their DPhil with funding for their remaining living costs.
St Antony’s Boat Club (SABC) Annual Fund
The SABC Annual Fund supports the ongoing operational costs of the St Antony’s Boat Club. Includes boat maintenance and storage fees, coaches and training expenses, and saving for boat purchases once every five years. Applications for this fund are submitted by the President of the Boat Club.
