James Aggrey-Orleans
His Excellency James Aggrey-Orleans (International Relations, 1970; SCR Member, 2001-2004) died on Monday, 19 November. He was 81. A friend to the College, he had risen to become Ghana’s High Commissioner to the UK. Not only this, but he had been considered a mentor for Antonians in the diplomatic field.
The Ghanian Foreign Minister visited his family and signed the book of condolence. Tributes were paid by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Club UK, a Ghanaian organisation in the United Kingdom. The MFA stated that His Excellency Aggrey-Orleans was ‘well-known for his professionalism and versatility.’
The Warden will be sending the College’s condolences to his family.
