Lord Mawhinney (1940-2019)
We were sad to learn of the passing of Brian Mawhinney, Lord Mawhinney, on 9 November 2019. From 2004-2005 her was Visiting Parliamentary Fellow at St Antony’s College, alongside Mr Martin O’Neill. He was an insightful and engaged coordinator of the seminars, and was instrumental in bringing together Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness for the first time ever, at an unforgettable Visiting Parliamentary Fellowship Seminar. We are grateful to his contributions to the life of the College.
