Professor Stanley Wolpert (1927-2019)

Professor Stanley Wolpert, a Visiting Fellow in 1974-75, passed away on 19 February, 2019. He was 91. He was an accomplished South Asian scholar, writing over a dozen books on the topic, including biographies of Jinnah, Gandhi and Nehru. He also published four novels. 

He went on to become Emeritus Professor of UCLA.
