You said, we did!
At St Antony’s College, your feedback drives real change. Over the past year, we’ve implemented several improvements based on your input through surveys, feedback sessions, and conversations with staff.
Change that you made happen:
- Private bookable and flexible spaces for a more productive work environment, including space for prayer and spiritual needs
- Enhanced kitchen facilities in the Old Main Building for your convenience
- Expanded scholarships to support our diverse student community. The focus of our fundraising efforts has been on scholarships. Thanks to the support of the worldwide community of Antonians, other generous funders, and partners, we are able to support students from around the world to come to St Antony’s. The total value of the scholarships on offer for 2025/26 is roughly £ 1 million – find out more about scholarships here
- Blues Grants to support students in extracurricular activities
- Upgraded technology: two additional monitors have been installed in the Gulbenkian Reading Room for use with personal devices. There are now five monitors available
- College history accessibility: our inaugural Archivist and Records Manager is making institutional archives more accessible, with plans for future special collection displays in 2025
- Expanded library resources: over 40 books requested by students—including titles on Queer Studies—were added in 2023–24. We encourage further recommendations through the Purchase Request Form
- Bookable guest rooms for part-time students
- Launch of the Domestic Forum in Hilary term 2025 to address key concerns and improve College life
- Extended lunch opening hours for greater flexibility
How to get involved
There are many opportunities to share with us what’s working well, what could be improved, and how we can make your time here even better.
In addition to the annual College student survey, we run focus groups and host the termly Warden’s Breakfast, where you can engage in open, meaningful, discussions with staff. These initiatives give you even more opportunities to share your ideas and collaborate on solutions. Anyone can join and we encourage you to get involved.
