Kozo Ueda is a Professor of School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University, Japan. He worked for the Bank of Japan for 14 years before joining Waseda University. He received an MPhil and a DPhil in economics from the University of Oxford after obtaining an MS in physics from the University of Tokyo.
