Steven S K Kwok

Steven S K Kwok read MPhil in European Politics & Society/MLitt in Politics at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford and matriculated in 1995.

For the University of Oxford, Steven has acted as Liaison Officer for China (Hong Kong) at St Antony’s College, Oxford, since September 2021. He also acted as the Country Champion (Hong Kong) for the Oxford Education Society of the University of Oxford Department of Education from 2014-2017.

Steven is keen to organize two or more Antonian events per year for all the fellow Antonians in Hong Kong/China. In 2023, he organized two Antonian Dinners, apart from a few smaller events, for fellow Antonians in Hong Kong. With three master’s degrees from the USA, Australia, and Hong Kong, a Trinity College London CertTESOL, and an Oxford University education, Steven is an experienced, professional, and dedicated Academic/Business English lecturer, IELTS trainer, and Academic Skills coach since 2011, and also a seasoned lecturer in Business and Management, General Education, and Social Sciences since 2003, in Hong Kong.

Steven has also worked as a research manager/officer at the Hong Kong SAR Government, The University of Hong Kong, CUHK School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and Hong Kong Institute of Education. In addition, he has worked as an Executive Officer (Internationalization), Communications Manager, Project Officer, and Education Counsellor all at the tertiary level.

For the School of Business, Woxsen University, India, Steven has worked as an Adjunct Professor, conducting research/consultancy/projects, teaching MBA courses, etc. since July 2022.

For another of his alma maters, The New School in New York City, Steven is the Founder of The New School Alumni Community in Hong Kong and was the Founding Chair of The New School Alumni Community Council in Hong Kong from 2022-23.

Steven has studied and lived in New York City, Oxford, London, Berlin/Germany, and his hometown of Hong Kong.
