40 under 40 Public Health Catalyst Award for Antonian Dr Muhammad Jawad Noon
We are thrilled to announce that St Antony’s alumnus, Dr Muhammad Jawad Noon (MSc Evidence-Based Intervention and Policy Evaluation, 2016) has been honored with the 40 under 40 Public Health Catalyst Award by the Boston Congress of Public Health.
This prestigious accolade celebrates exceptional talents, potentiality, and contributions to the realms of public health, health equity, and social justice. The 40 under 40 cohort showcases a rarefied group of the world’s emerging leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists, activists, thought leaders, and authors.
Dr Noon studied medicine in Pakistan, followed by an MSc in Evidence-Based Intervention and Policy Evaluation at Oxford. He currently works as a researcher at the University of Göttingen in Germany where his work focuses on health econometrics.
In 2021, Dr Noon was awarded the German Medical Award, and in 2023 was selected as a recipient of the Dr Judy Wasserheit Young Leader Award by the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH).
