General Assistant (Stewarding)

We are looking for a reliable person with a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a front of house food and beverage position. An enthusiastic approach to work is essential, as well as strong team-working skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to interact well with a wide variety of people.

This is a permanent, full-time post, working 35 hours per week, any five days out of seven to include evening and weekend work. Occasionally, you will be required to work over any six days out of seven. There is a probationary period of three months.

You will preferably have relevant experience but this is not essential as training will be provided. A sound level of English to be able to undertake the role is essential.

The rate of pay is £13.16 per hour and we offer generous employee benefits including:

41 days’ annual leave (including Bank Holidays). It should be noted that holiday cannot normally be taken during term and that the College staff work on Bank Holidays that occur during term
free meals in College during normal working hours and when the Hall is open
membership of the University of Oxford’s Staff Pension (OSPS)
access to a car parking space in the College’s grounds if one is available.
