Remote Access to the Archive

If material has already been digitised, then we can provide copies of unpublished archives for private study and non-commercial research using the standard copyright exemption form.

We charge 10p per scan (excluding VAT) for our paper collections. For high resolution digital copies of photographs we charge £5 per image (excluding VAT) and we charge publication and exhibition fees to license photographs for publication or exhibition.

Please contact the Archivist, Debbie Usher, at mecarchive@sant.ox.ac.uk to ask whether material has already been digitised.

For material that is not yet digitised, we are sorry to write that we are not able to support remote access.

Please note that our ability to provide digital copies is subject to UK Copyright law, any copying restrictions that a donor may have placed on material and also preservation concerns.
