Invitation to join the University Equality and Diversity Community of Practice
The Equality and Diversity Unit would like to share an invitation to college staff to join a new Community of Practice focused on equality, diversity and inclusion.
The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Community of Practice (CoP) has just launched and we’re inviting staff from across the university and colleges to join the community.
The community is open to:
- EDI practitioners (University employed or college staff)
- Any staff member who has an interest in supporting, or already supports EDI work within their department, division, college or the wider university.
The EDI Community of Practice will work to help identify and meet the professional development needs and aspirations of its members by:
- Being action focused and member-led
- Empowering members to take charge of their own development and career progression
- Offering a safe space for members to support, challenge and learn from each other
- Supporting members with tools to manage the emotional impact of their work
- Forging strong links across the EDI community at Oxford to enable collaboration and sharing of information, good practice and details of EDI activities
