The Antonian Fund
The Antonian Fund was created to provide grants to directly enhance and further our students’ experiences at the College.
Since its inception in 2014, the Antonian Fund has supported a diverse range of projects across a number of disciplines, from the renowned STAIR Journal and The Oxford Middle East Review, through the Boat Club and other sport and outdoor activities, to fieldwork and research across the globe, and conferences, debates and music and art events at the College.
The projects, which are proposed by our current students and benefit the entire student community, are funded wholly by St Antony’s Alumni and Friends. Our supporters’ generosity enables our student body to enjoy a colourful and vibrant range of academic and extracurricular activities, all of which have a profound impact on the quality of their College life, their academic pursuits and, very topically nowadays, their overall wellbeing.

Grants are awarded to the categories specified below. Our supporters can either direct their donation towards a specific area, or to ‘Greatest Need’.

Antonian Fund – The St Antony’s DAC Scholarship
With a commitment to enabling students to fulfil their academic potential, regardless of background, and without financial concerns, St Antony’s aspires to award scholarships to students who completed their undergraduate degrees in the Global South.
Antonian Fund – Student Activities
We are committed to supporting the academic growth and development of our students, and activities that enrich the student environment and experience. Donations to Student Activities will fund special lectures, workshops, and other academic activities.
Antonian Fund – Travel and Research
Students and Fellows at St Antony’s specialise in international area studies, so fieldwork and research trips play a vital part in their work. Much of this would not be possible without financial support.

Antonian Fund – Writing-up Bursaries
These bursaries are aimed at supporting students nearing completion of their DPhil with funding for their remaining living costs.
