Global Strategy Forum
Global Strategy Forum (GSF) in London is chaired by Lord Lothian. The Director is Jacqueline Jinks. They organise regular seminars devoted to the study of international affairs.
On 13 June 2012 they invited David Madden of SEESOX to be a speaker at a seminar on Cyprus. Both GSF and SEESOX recognised the scope for continued collaboration, with SEESOX drawing on the outcomes of the events in their academic programmes to give informed presentations to the GSF. There have subsequently been six events at which SEESOX have briefed either on their most recent seminar series in Oxford (Revisiting Convergence in 2013), or on the outcomes of day-long workshops (Serbia/Kosovo in 2014, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2015 and Turkey and the West in 2017), or on an even broader theme (The Geopolitics of Fear: South East Europe in a Triangle of Uncertainty – Russia, Middle East, North Africa in 2016). This year, on 5 June, SEESOX gave a presentation on the Berlin Process, based on conferences in Oxford and Thessaloniki, and in the run-up to the London Summit in July.
