Programme on Contemporary Turkey

Programme on Contemporary Turkey

The Programme on Contemporary Turkey was established in 2003, as part of one of SEESOX’s main area of focus. Since then, it has hosted many prominent academics from Turkey and supported their research.  The mission of the Programme is to foster research on Turkey, to work with a network of established scholars and to organize lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences. The Programme aims at promoting the academic debate on Turkey’s politics, geopolitics, economy and international relations - with particular focus on its relationship with the European Union- through numerous activities and publications.
